Let Me Be Clear About Microsoft Recall

It seems a lot of people are assuming they know me and are spreading rubbish in comments,
these are just trolls and Linux fan boys who have nothing better to do but hate on Windows. Nothing gets them going more than a Microsoft video and Privacy.

1. I don’t like or want Recall on my PC
2. I don’t work for Microsoft
3. I am not a shill for Microsoft
4. I really don’t care what OS you use. I work with all operating systems
5. Don’t like Windows? Don’t use it, you do have a choice
6. I understand your privacy concerns about Microsoft Recall, but its not my problem, so don’t take your anger out on me because I am a predominately a Windows OS channel.
7. Don’t rage in the comments, have an adult conversation in discord voice? But then you can’t hide and troll or hate like you want to.
8. The whole privacy thing is bigger than Microsoft.
9. I see a lot of conspiracy theory groups of people responding to everyone in the comments assuming they know everything, while spreading misinformation, these people will be blocked. I have no time for haters, trolls or know-it-all’s
10. Everyone has an opinion and I respect that, but be respectful. People can read comments wrong and reply in a negative way, so think before you type.

We live in a world that is shaped by social media. Some individuals feel empowered by the feeling of anonymity behind there fake anonymous social media accounts, there are a small number of individuals who love to harass me and other members of our online community.

Anonymity creates a comfort zone for some individuals, a sort of cocoon of security with the feeling of no consequences that can happen to them. I try and promote a positive environment for everyone in our comments section and most of you are kind and respectful. But we do have those individuals who engage in behaviour they might not otherwise exhibit in face-to-face interactions.

So to answer some of your questions in the comments.

1. I have always been open to criticism and feedback, but not when its just pure hate. Most of the haters show unwillingness to engage in a discussion in the comments or discord. I guess its because they want to stay anonymous and continue to spread negativity.

2. I do NOT hide or delete comments to avoid answering them. Sometimes YouTube will automatically remove comments for whatever reason or put them un "held for review" section. unfortunately, a lot of good comments get placed in "held for review". This is out of my control. I will delete vulgar or any other comments deemed unfit for my community.

3. What is blocked by me? for years I have blocked URLs in comments, I know this hurts me, but it stops nasty stuff being posted in comments which my community could see. Its hard to keep on top of URLS, but I do release the good ones once I check "held for review". I also block a lot of nasty words from being posted in comments and the last thing, I hide all trolls who have had multiple chances to be kind and respectful and failed. I guess haters are gonna hate.

So lets keep social media a safe place for everyone to enjoy.

I have just unblocked all YouTube accounts that I've shadow banned over the years, why? to give people a chance and hopefully they have changed. I believe in second chances and some people have been blocked for years. All I ask of people is to be respectful. Having an opinion is fine, but being a troll or hateful on my channel is unacceptable.



Anyway, I'm all for change, welcome back
